Sky News report on Sunday Trading changes from SOLEX


Leading figures from the garden industry – Carol Paris, Matthew Bent, Bob Hewitt, Mike Withers and Debbie Curtis – were all interviewed by Sky News on the first day of SOLEX  for a story that was broadcast at 5pm yesterday (Tuesday) about the changes to Sunday trading announced in the budget.

The HTA have been lobbying goverment for changes to Sunday trading and CEO Carol Paris was pleased with the news released yesterday that an announcement about changes will be made in the House of Commons by the Chancellor George Osborne during the budget today.
