Whilst this year has been unpredictable for suppliers and retailers alike, Ascalon hasn’t lost its knack for predicting garden trends and providing customers with beautiful new wrought iron garden furniture designs. 2021 sees the arrival of a host of inspiring products, including old favourites in exciting new colourways as well as striking new pieces. Here is a quick taste of what’s to come.
New Colourway For Best-Selling Marlborough Set

Following on from the overwhelming popularity of the Marlborough 3pc and 5pc dining sets in Antique Blue Rust, Ascalon have added a striking new alternative to their offering. The eye-catching silver colourway is perfect for the customer looking to for bold modern take on this classic design.
Even More ‘Chateau Chic’ with the loire bench

The charming Loire Bench is the perfect new companion to the beloved Loire Bistro set. With its classic curves and French-style lattice back, the elegant design would take pride of place in any setting, be it an English garden or the grounds of a French manor. Perhaps equally striking is the affordable price tag, making this the perfect ‘impulse buy’ for your customers.
Impressive new structures build on 2020 success

Following the popularity of large tunnels and gazebos in their 2020 ranges, Ascalon have designed a host of new garden structures for 2021. Innovative new products include the charming double bench arbour, with a striking triangular roof and two facing benches, (pictured here) as well as new tunnels, pavilions, and arbours. These products join best-sellers including the 4m Gothic Tunnels in bronze and cream.
Although you can’t see them in person at Solex, you can still take a look at these products, alongside Ascalon’s full ranges, on their website, www.ascalon.co.uk. You can also get in touch with their sales team by emailing sales@ascalon.co.uk.
Ascalon adapts to Coronavirus challenges

The global coronavirus situation has posed huge challenges to suppliers and retailers alike, but garden furniture and giftware supplier Ascalon Design Ltd have taken the crisis in their stride. With unprecedented sales throughout June, their teams have risen to the challenge of supplying customers under the new operating conditions created by the pandemic.
With the warehouse team adapting quickly to working safely with social distancing measures in place, they’ve spent the last few weeks busily shipping orders of desperately needed stock out to help customers looking to quickly reopen shops and garden centres and get their year back on track. Despite the challenges, lead-times remain low, equalling other busy periods in the year.
Meanwhile, sales and accounts teams continue to remain fully functional whilst working from home, ensuring orders are processed promptly and supporting customers with queries. Regional reps are back on the road, ready to help customers select the stock they need from Ascalon’s wide ranges. Alongside this, new shipments are coming in on a near fortnightly basis, replenishing best-selling stock to ensure customers can get what they need with minimal delays.
Whilst the crisis has demanded immediate action, Ascalon’s buyers have also been looking ahead to predict garden trends and plan for upcoming seasons. They are excited to launch an inspiring selection of new products for 2021, including new colourways for popular products as well as innovate new structures and seating designs. Keep an eye out for a preview of these designs in the upcoming Solex catalogue—their full selection can be found online at www.ascalon.co.uk.
