Outdoor garden furniture, wooden products and decorative garden structure specialist, Zest 4 Leisure has recruited both in the UK and in Eastern Europe to ensure a robust supply chain going forward.
Having like everyone in the industry seen the potential challenges of the combined fall out of the pandemic and BREXIT on worldwide logistics, the company has recruited additional personnel throughout the supply chain and introduced new systems throughout its production and supply process.
An initial four staff have been recruited in key roles in Europe and the UK with further appointments planned as Zest ramps up its commitment to supply sustainably. A new warehouse management system has also been installed as part of a digital implementation across the board. Further developments are ongoing as the company sees significantly increased demand for products such as the Chepstow Arbour and the Burghley Arbour, consistent with consumer trends towards spending more time in the garden.
Zest 4 Leisure’s managing director, Steve Morgan commented, “All suppliers and manufacturers have faced a unique situation over the last fifteen months with massively increased demand - creating practical supply challenges never witnessed before. Zest 4 Leisure has taken the opportunity to review its supply methodology with a view to making it both robust and future-proof.”
Zest 4 Leisure was established in 2005 to bring high quality, FSC® (C114990) certified timber garden products to garden centres, online retailers, builders’ merchants, and major purchasing groups across the UK.
