LOFA presents cheque for £10,000 to Greenfingers
LOFA chairman Paul Bevington presented a cheque for £10,000 to Greenfingers head of fundraising Linda Petrons at SOLEX today. The money will be put towards creating a garden at the Earl Mountbatten Hospice on the Isle of Wight.

"This is a tremendous donation from LOFA and it is a privilege to receive it at this great show," said Linda.

"Greenfingers is indebted to LOFA who have very generiously donated to a very exciting project which got underway this summer."

LOFA make a substantial donation to charity every year and Greenfingers is one of the organisation main beneficiaries.

The Earl Mountbatten Hospice has until recently been dedicated to providing hospice care for adults, but working collaboratively with the local NHS, plans to extend its care to support children with life threatening and limiting conditions and their families on the island.

As part of the expansion of children's services at the hospice, Greenfingers has become involved in creating gardens and expanding outdoor facilities for the increasing number of children and their families spending time there.
